EMPLOYMENT
|
Durability is the most important part of choosing a sign material. Oakhurst uses only top quality materials that are made to stand the test of time.
SIGN FOAM:
 |
Will not warp, split or crack
100% waterproof
Insect proof
Unaffected by temperature
Will not rot or decompose
Is highly chemically-resistant
Can be painted; does not peel or crack
|
This high-density urethane foam consists of more solid and less air making it the number one replacement for wood products. Using urethane as a base means that it is impervious to all petroleum-based solvents. Even in its "raw" state, it is completely waterproof and unaffected by climatic changes.
Sandblasting:
 |
Whether you are trying to match existing sandblasted signs or just simply like the look of sandblasting, Oakhurst can do it. Sandblasting is one of the most popular ways to get high quality, three-dimensional signage. We use sand and air pressure, to blast away the unmasked sign foam background leaving graphics behind. |
Faux Wood Grain texture:
 |
If the wood look is what you like, Oakhurst can do it. By using a texture frame we can achieve the organic look of sandblasted redwood. By simply placing the frame in front of the sign and blasting through its wires, we get a perfect wood grain every time. |
Sign Foam Size Specs:

WHY NOT WOOD?
Oakhurst does not use wood unless it is for an indoor sign. Wood rots and does not last. We urge you not to buy wood for an outdoor project unless you are interested in a high maintenance product.
